I have been here for 4 years and within the last two weeks have recieved 3 thumbnails of a dev in a note by 3 different people who have made them. ( each respectively )
No accompanying words...just the artwork. This has never happened before.
2 of them were from people not even in my watchlist but peeps i spoke to lightly due to my recent DD. They just ( i assume )

So what's up with that?....lol ...

Since the ability to make collections in our fav galleries i find i am far more liberal with favs because now i may classify them without miscontruity by the public at large....So i have been faving way more lately all over.
I have noticed that in the old days ...7 out of 10 peeps ( strangers...not watchlist folk ) would thank you for a fav....
Now?... these days i estimate 3 out of 10.

So what's up with that?...lol

In the long run...cruelty and rudeness wont get them very far....
Bevis or Butthead can never become a popular artist or blogger ..(whatever you choose to be here.)..and they will hang themselves eventually. If they never figure out why no one visits them ...more's the better.

Also ...anybody with more brains, empathy, personality, or philosophy immediately scares and provokes those with lesser amounts of them. Their response may be a simple defense to their own realized but unconfessed inadequacies. You must take it with a grain of salt for you have the higher reasoning capicity.

I think maybe you have just appreciating the wrong things/people...lol...
DA is little more than a crapshoot to find a brain of equal measure somtimes...and youve just been rolling bad dice lately.

In the old days ...people would buy a famous ( any famous ) artist's work.
There was no mass communication that easily allowed us to instantly see the mind behind the work from it's own voice...we just liked the way it looked. And he got rich from sales.

I have wondered if that same ( any )artist were alive today with a website ....and he never thanked anyone...treated people like shit ..ignored their questions and praise..... couldnt be bothered to apreciate anything else around him that wasnt his... and we discovered he was an alcoholic and proud of it....
Would he still get rich from sales?

The art world is far more complicated than I thought...
Sometimes it seems you have taught me more about life than my father does.
It's hard appreciating these good things in life if the bad are much stronger... or maybe some of us just don't have that nightvision to see matches hidden in the darkness to light that damn candle.

What really makes bad art and good art? People keep saying that good art is something that takes time and effort, and yet there are many times when this is not the case at all.

You know I used to always check the faves and comments..or to see how much I have gotten as a way to reward myself. But Your right since yesterday I realized that people really do not comment unless your this big known artist or something, maybe they just don't have enough room anymore or maybe they can't be bothered.

But I guess I don't care anymore becuz i realized how Happy we are when we added smthn new, that we appreciate and understand. It leaves the majority out, but it makes me feel good that i have some ppl who care; importantly myself and you as well.

Sometimes i got more faves on smthn i worked for like 10 min then a whole day.

I guess the best advice I can give you as a friend is just fuck the rest, and if you think you worked hard then thats all that matters.

(It's true it really helps lol well atleast for me=])
